PM visits Antony in hospital

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today visited Army's Research and Referral Hospital to enquire about the health of Defence Minister A K Antony.

The Minister had undergone a prostate surgery at the hospital recently.

The Prime Minister was with Antony for 15 minutes.

The senior Congress leader is considered to be the number two in the Cabinet and is consulted by the Prime Minister and the top party leadership on all important issues.

On October 2, Party President Sonia Gandhi had visited Antnoy along with her son Rahul Gandhi.
