Police hunting for man accused of raping minor girl

An 8-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour in Hussaini Alam area, police said.

The police have formed three teams to nab the accused Siraz, who is on the run.

Four days ago, Siraz allegedly lured the girl to his house by offering her money and sexually assaulted her, inspector A Balaji said.

The girl's mother lodged a complaint today.

Police have registered a case under the IPC and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
