Police are on the lookout for a student of Samsi college in Malda district who abused and indecently touched a woman invigilator in a drunken state during the first year examination of Sanskrit language.

The police said that Tazimul Haq, student of Samsi college, yesterday entered the examination hall in a Bermuda and created a ruckus by making inappropriate comments about the invigilator.

At this, the invigilator and the non-teaching staff asked Haq to leave the examination hall, but the youth stayed arguing that he was the Trinamool Congress working presient of the college union.

Acting principal of the college Manoj Ghosh informed the SP and SDPO Rana Mukhopadhyay about the incident.

An FIR has been filed against Haq by the college authorities, according to the police.
