Police rescues 13-year-old girl, kidnapper arrested

Police today rescued a 13-year-old girl and arrested the alleged kidnapper from Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district.

The girl's family lodged a complaint at Trikuta Nagar police station here about their daughter being abducted by Shafkat Ahmed on Sunday, the police official said.

The girl was rescued after the police raided a place in Rajouri and arrested the alleged kidnapper, he said.

According to the police, girl was handed over to the family, while a case has been registered against the accused in this connection.
