Police seize sandalwood during vehicle check

About 146 kgs of sandalwood billets being smuggled through a car were seized and three persons were arrested here yesterday, police said today.

During the vehicle checking drive the police stopped the car and found first quality sandalwood billets had been kept in bags.

During interrogation the arrested trio confessed that they were smuggling it to Gujarat, police said.
