Policemen placed under suspension
Two police officials were jailed today after they were suspended for accepting bribe, police said here.
The policemen attached to Kovilpalayam police station were caught by Vigilance and Anti Corruption officials while accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000 from a man for closing a mobile phone theft case.
