Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises Praful Patel today called on Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh to offer condolences on the demise of his wife last week.
Patel arrived at Guna in a special plane from New Delhi and reached here by road to meet Singh, who is here till the 13th day death-related ceremony of his wife is over.
Digvijay Singh's wife Asha Singh was cremated on March 1 in Raghogarh, an erstwhile princely state ruled by Singh's family.
Asha, 58, passed away on February 27 at a hospital in New Delhi after battling cancer for several years.
