Private bus overturns in UP's Mainpuri; 17 killed, 25 injured

At least 17 passengers, including a woman, were killed and 25 others injured when a private bus overturned after hitting a road divider early today in Kallu Ki Madhaiya village in the Dannahar area of this district.

The bus, carrying 60-70 people, was coming from in and heading towards Farrukhabad. The accident happened near Tirathpur village at around 5.30 am, Superintendent of Police told over the phone.
