Prohibitory orders were imposed in the district by the administration ahead of festivals and competitive exams to maintain law and order, an official said.
"The orders were promulgated owing to forthcoming festivals and an all India examination," District Magistrate Sarvagya Ram Mishra said.
The orders under Section 144 of the CrPC were imposed till June 30, he said.
