PSG All-India basket ball tourney from August 9

Reigning champions Indian Army and runners-up ONGC will be among eights teams vying for honours in the 52nd All India Basket Ball Tournament for Men for PSG Trophy to be held here from August 9 to 13.

Tamil Nadu, Income Tax, Arise Steel and Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu, (All Chennai), Vijaya Bank, Bengaluru and KSEB Kerala, are the other teams that would be seen in action, PSG Institutions Managing Trustee L Gopalakrishnan told reporters here today.

Almost all internationals representing India team, including Satnam Singh, will play for their respective state/institutional teams, he said.

The matches will be played on league basis, T Palanisamy, Secretary, PSG Sports Club, the organisors, said.
