Punjabi outfit chief adopts kids of victims of US shooting

"Sharing deep grief with the families of Ranjit Singh and his younger brother Sita Singh, who lost their lives in the firing at Wisconsin, Sahney announced adoption of their children in India," the Sun Foundation said in a release.
"He announced that all expenses related to the marriage of their daughters will be borne by him and a fixed deposit of Rs one lakh each has been given to the daughters of the deceased," it said.
Sahney also announced a bravery award for the President of the Gurudwara, Satwant Singh Kaleka, for fighting the killer at the time of the incident.
