A junior railway engineer along with his wife and daughter was today electrocuted to death at his official residence near Karhagola railway station in Bihar's Katihar district, police said.
Vidyasagar (55) got electrocuted when he came in contact with a live wire while trying to remove dry clothes from a it, Sub-Divisional Officer Subhash Narayan said.
His wife Rekha Devi (50) and Shilpi Kumari (22) were also electrocuted when they while trying to rescue him, he said.

All of them died on the spot and the bodies have been sent for post mortem, Narayan said.
Vidyasagar was posted as the junior engineer at Karhagola railway station for many years, he added.
