Pre-monsoon showers today occurred in parts of Rajasthan even as Barmer was recorded as the hottest place in the state at 43.2 degrees Celsius.
Sallopat in Banswara recorded 3 cm of rainfall, while the Banswara city and Jhadol in Udaipur recorded rainfall of 2 cm each. Few other places also registered below 2 cm of rains since yesterday, the MeT Department said here.
Barmer was followed by Jaisalmer where the maximum temperature was 43 degrees Celsius. Bikaner and Churu recorded their maximum temperatures of 42.6 degrees Celsius each, the weatherman said.
The Department has predicted dust-storms in isolated areas of the state over the next 24 hours.
