Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy led the Union Territory of Puducherry to pay floral tributes at the statue of former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu C N Annadurai (popularly called as Anna) on the occasion of his 107th birth anniversary today.
Speaker of Puducherry Assembly V Sabapathy, Welfare Minister P.Rajavelu, legislators of the ruling AINRC and delegates of party's different wings were among those who paid homage at the statue.
Leaders and volunteers of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam came in a rally and garlanded the statue of the leader.
Similarly functionaries of the AIADMK with the party cadres came in a procession and paid tributes at the statue. Delegates of various outfits also paid homage at the statue.
