Reporter hurt in explosion

A 29-year-old scribe working for a Marathi daily sustained head injury due to flying objects in the explosion at the chemical unit in Dombivli today.

Akash Gaikwad was walking down the road when he was hit by flying debris from the unit.

He sustained injuries on his head and near his eyes.

The reporter was treated at Galaxy Hospital.
