Amid pickup in domestic and export demand, cardamom was higher 0.21 per cent to Rs 775.30 per kg in futures trade today as speculators enlarged positions.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in September edged up Rs 1.60, or 0.21 per cent to Rs 775.30 per kg in a business turnover of 153 lots.

Market analysts said besides rising domestic as well as exports demand at the spot market, restricted supplies from producing regions mainly influenced cardamom prices in futures trade.
