Actor-singer Rita Ora is hosting this year's MTV Europe Music Awards.
The 26-year-old musician will also perform at the annual music event in her hometown London on November 12, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Excited about her stint as the presenter, Ora said she cannot wait for the awards and believes the show is going to be a total knockout.
"I'm so excited to be hosting this year's MTV EMAs in my hometown. I still remember how much fun my first EMAs was in Frankfurt in 2012, when I performed 'RIP'.
"I can't wait to get back on the stage to host and perform. Worlds will collide on this global stage come November 12, so get ready," she said.
The "Your Song" singer said hosting the event at Wembley Arena was a "huge" moment for her.
"To have it at Wembley, such an iconic venue with so much history, it is going to be a great night," Ora said.
Several terror attacks rocked the British capital this year and asked if like other award shows, the EMAs will also bear a political message, Ora said she believes people today need a dose of entertainment and relief.
"We just really want to focus on what the show is about, which is MTV Europe Music Awards. We plan to bring a form of spirit and hope into a music awards show, especially being in London.
"There are a lot of things that have happened this year, and it's really important to just be proud of where you are from," she said.
