Riya case: CBI announces Rs 25K reward on absconding accused

A cash reward of Rs 25,000 has been announced by the CBI for providing information on an absconding accused leading to his arrest in the murder case of a 17-year-old college girl in the district.
The announcement was made yesterday by the probing agency.
The CBI has announced the reward for providing information about the accused Rohtash, resident of Muthbhar village, according to CBI SP Raja Bala Jia.

Riya, a student of BA, was shot dead and her father Suresh Pal injured at Mutbhar village under Bhorakala police station in the district on March 10 last.
The police later had registered a case against four people including the former 'gram pradhan' (village head) in this connection. Later a CBI inquiry was ordered into the case by the Supreme Court.
