Robert Pattinson became model to meet girls

"Twilight" star Robert Pattinson has revealed that the main reason for which he became a model in initial days of his career was to meet girls.

The 27-year-old actor, who has worked as a model before starring in blockbusters like the "The Twilight Saga", insists that he never really planned to pursue a career in modelling, reported Contactmusic.

"I became a model to meet girls. I was simply still young. I did it without a plan for a career of any form," he said.
