: Tamil Nadu government today announced a relief of Rs three lakh to the family of an elephant attack victim.
Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa expressed grief over the death of James, who was killed after a wild elephant attacked him on Saturday at Pollachi in Coimbatore district.
In a statement, she said that she had directed payment of Rs three lakh to his family by the Forest Department.
