Ruling JD(U) MLA surrenders

Alam accompanied by his lawyer surrendered before the court of the first class judicial magistrate P K Ratan today.

The court later granted him bail.

The court also granted bail to three others in connection with the instant case.

The court had yesterday issued a non-bailable warrant of arrest against Alam, an MLA from Jokihat in Araria district, in connection with the case charging him with asssaulting the petrol pump owner Sanjya Mishra in Araria a decade ago. PTI CORR AJK MM
