Russell Crowe dating Katie Lee?

The 48-year-old is said to be "casually seeing" TV food critic Katie Lee - ex-wife of Joel, reported Daily Mail.

The pair were spotted cuddling in front of a fireplace at the Greenwich Hotel in New York at 3am on Sunday morning and again at the same spot at 2pm later that day.

"They seemed to be in an intense flirtatious conversation. They looked really into each other. Katie has lived in New York for years, while Russell is currently in town to film 'A Winter's Tale' with Collin Farrell," a source said.

Lee wed Joel in New York October 2004 when she was 23 and he was 55 after a one year courtship. However, it appeared the 32 year age gap eventually caused problems and they split in 2009.

 

Meanwhile, Crowe's apparent romance comes just a few months after it was revealed he had quietly separated from singer wife Spencer after nine years of marriage.

Two weeks ago, the actor had said his busy filming schedule meant he had hardly spent any time with his sons Charles and Tennyson this year.

"Starting on another film set tomorrow. I need to go home & be with my children. Cannot believe how tight my schedule has become this year."
