Senior IAS officer Sanjay Kumar Srivastava was today given additional charge of chairperson, National Authority for Chemicals Weapons Convention (NACWC).
He will hold the charge for three months, an order issued by Department of Personnel and Training said.
The vacancy had come up following retirement of Aradhana Johri last month.

Srivastava, a 1980 batch IAS officer of union territories cadre, is presently Secretary (Coordination) in Cabinet Secretariat.
The NACWC, an office under Cabinet Secretariat, has been established for implementing the provisions of the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production, Stockpiling and Use of Chemical Weapons and on their Destruction. NACWC is an office in the Cabinet Secretariat, Government of India.
