Satkhivel appointed Registrar General of Madras High Court

The Madras High Court today appointed district judge R Sakthivel as Registrar General of the court.

He will take over from N Sathishkumar, who has been elevated as a judge of the high court.

A notification to this effect was issued by the Madras High Court today.

Sakthivel is now the Administrator General and official trustee of Tamil Nadu.

Meanwhile all three judges N Sathishkumar, N Seshasayee and R M T Teekaaraman, who were appointed as high court judges, will take oath of office on Wednesday morning.

Chief Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul will administer the oath of office to them.
