Over 1500 students from different government schools in Delhi today gathered at the Monumental Flag, a city landmark, to pay tribute to the Pakistan terror attack victims, 132 among whom were children.

A two-minute silence was observed by those assembled and 'Ram Dhun' was also played at the site. 132 white flowers in pots were also placed in the memory of the innocent fallen lives.

The students from Delhi government and New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) schools gathered at the Central Park in Connaught Place at around 2 pm, and prayed for the 148 people, who were shot dead by Taliban terrorists in Peshawar on Tuesday.

The students also lit candles and lay white flowers at the base of the largest national flag in the country flown at the Central Park.

Delhi's Lt Governor Najeeb Jung along with other senior officials of the Delhi government were also present on the occasion.
