School student feared drowned

A class X student was feared drowned while taking a bath in Amri river in Sambhalkha village here today, police said.

Vikas (15) had come to take a bath in the river this morning along with two of his friends when he slipped into the deep waters, they said.

The victim could not be saved from drowning inspite of valiant efforts by his friends.

So far, the body has not been retrieved by the divers, police added.
