The massive search operation to locate the Pawan Hans helicopter, which went missing after taking off from Khonsa in Arunachal Pradesh's Tirap district on August 4, yielded no result on the sixth day today, officials said.

Arunachal Pradesh Civil Aviation secretary B M Mishra said that Shillong-based Eastern Air Command AOC-in-Chief Air Marshall S P Deb today flew over Tirap in a Mi-17 V5 aircraft trying to locate the missing helicopter.

The search operation is being conducted jointly by the Army, Assam Rifles and police and the Tirap and Changlang district administration.
