Select copra prices recover in restricted trade

In a restricted activity, Copra Alapuzha and copra Kozhikode prices recovered at the spices market here today on renewed demand from stockist and millers.

Meanwhile, local copra, pepper and ginger markets closed on account of bandh called by traders in protest against the imposition of LBT (local body tax) by the government.

Copra office Alapuzha and copra office Kozhikode prices climbed by Rs 100 per quintal each to Rs 4,650 and RS 4,550 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 4,550 and Rs 4,450, respectively.
