Seven new judges sworn in

The Kerala High Court Chief Justice Ashok Bhushan administered the oath of office to seven new judges at a function at the court today.

The judges are Sunil Thomas, B Sudheendrakumar, K P Jyothindranath, Mary Joseph, Shaji P Chali, Anu Sivaraman, and Raja Vijayaraghavan.

While Sunil Thomas, Sudheendrakumar, Jyothindranath, and Mary Joseph were elevated from the subordinate judiciary, Shaji P Chali, Anu Sivaraman, and Raja Vijayaraghavan were elevated while practicing as High Court lawyers.

Advocate-General K P Dandapani and Kerala High Court Advocates' Association president John Varghese felicitated the new judges.
