Sexagenarian held for attempting to sexually assault 4-yr-old

An 63-year-old man was today arrested for allegedly trying to sexually assault a four-year-old girl here, police said.

Police said Chandrasekharan, working as a security man at a daycare centre in Thrikkakara police station limits, was arrested based on a complaint by the parents of the girl.

In their complaint, the parents alleged that the man tried to sexually assault the child while she was alone at the daycare centre.

Chandrasekharan has been remanded in judicial custody, police said.
