Sexism can be as aggressive as racism: Zoe Saldana

Actress Zoe Saldana says she realised sexism is more powerful than racism in America following Donald Trump's victory in the presidential election last year.

"There was a realisation that I just had in this last election is that, that America is racist," Zoe says.

"Of course, there's racism everywhere. I'm not saying that there isn't. But I think that sexism is much stronger and it's much more aggressive. And turn on the TV, just read the newspaper."

The "Guardians of the Galaxy" star says the evidence is everywhere, from the fact that "CEOs are primarily males to the way art is primarily male-driven", reported People magazine.
 

"This lets you know logically that there is an imbalance.
