Former Himachal Chief Minister and BJP candidate from Kangra Lok Sabha seat, Shanta Kumar today asked party workers to go all out to ensure the victory of BJP candidates in the Lok Sabha polls.

Addressing the party workers at Palampur, he said the wind was in favour of BJP but workers should not be complacent. They must work hard to ensure that all households and each voter was contacted and convinced to vote for the party.

He cautioned that the party lost the 2004 Lok Sabha due to over confidence.

Meanwhile, Chief Electoral Officer Narinder Chauhan said around 62,000 new voters have been registered in HP after 2012 Assembly polls. They are in the age group of 18 and 19 years, he said.
