Sleuths from Bihar's Vigilance Investigation Bureau today caught a Bihar police sub-inspector red-handed while accepting Rs 20,000 bribe from a person here.
VIB officials said the SI Kapendra Singh was posted at Jakkanpur police station in Patna. He had demanded graft from Rajendra Singh Yadav of Bair Bigha village in Arwal district for sending a report in a case related to Section 144 of the Indian Penal Code.
The SI was arrested from the premises of Jakkanpur police station while taking Rs 20,000 from the complainant, a VIB official said.

He was taken to the Vigilance police station in the state capital, and will be produced at Special Vigilance Court after interrogation.
The VIB has arrested three state government officials since the beginning of this calendar year.
