Simon Cowell training for fatherhood on a doll

Media mogul Simon Cowell has been training himself for fatherhood by practising on a doll that can wet itself, according to his ex-girlfriend Sinitta.

The 54-year-old 'X Factor' boss, who is expecting a baby with girlfriend Lauren Silverman, will be a first time father, reported Contactmusic.

"He and Lauren got my daughter Magdalena a doll that can cry and do a wee-wee. It was funny watching him sitting there with it. One minute he'd turn it one way and it would start crying, then he'd turn it the other way and it would wee on him. He didn't know what to do," she said.
 

Sinitta earlier said that Cowell found handling an infant difficult.

"Someone handed him a baby to hold on the beach and I've never seen anything so awkward and ridiculous in my life. He didn't know one end from the other," she said.
