Small sugar gains in lacklustre trade

Small sugar prices gained in an otherwise lacklustre Vashi wholesale market here today owing to good demand from stockists and bulk consumers.

While, medium sugar ruled steady in the absence of any largescale buying activity.

Small sugar (S-30) quoted at Rs 2,520/2,641 per quintal from Wednesday's closing level Rs 2,520/2,635.

Medium sugar (M-30) closed unchanged at Rs 2,592/2,742 per quintal.
