Sleuths of Haryana Vigilance
Bureau today arrested a senior medical officer of Civil Hospital, Fatehabad while allegedly accepting an illegal gratification of Rs 5,000.
A case under Prevention of Corruption Act has been registered at the police station of the State Vigilance Bureau, Hisar against Dr Om Parkash Dehmiwal, for accepting the money from a resident of Rawalwas Kalan in Hisar district for issuing an emergency certificate regarding treatment of his wife, a spokesman of the Bureau said here.
Investigations are on in the case, he added.
