Customs officials at the airport here today seized a huge quantity of foreign cigarettes from a passenger coming from Sharjah.
On suspicion on the movement of Abudan, a native of Madurai, the official searched his baggage and found 1,880 packets of Dunhill cigarettes, police said.
The value of the seizure was about Rs.50,000 and further interrogation was on, they said.
