Socialist Party (India)- Telanganaunit'sgeneral secretary Lubna Sarwath said people shouldboycott the annual Iftar to be hosted by the TRS government today as it is being organised at the expense of "taxpayers money."
Sarwath said in a statement she would file a petition against the state government in the Hyderabad High Court.
"People of Telangana should decide if they approve such ridiculous spending culture from the taxpayer's money.
Government money is only and only for welfare of the public without distinction or discrimination of religion, caste, gender etc," she added.
