South African woman held at IGIA with Rs 30 lakh drugs

A South African woman was today arrested for allegedly smuggling narcotics worth Rs 30 lakh at the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) here.
At around 3pm at Terminal-3 of the IGIA, CISF personnel detected suspicious movements of the woman, identified as Ndlovu Annastancia (40), when she arrived to board a flight to Addis Ababa.
"A total of 6.3kg of narcotic drug 'Methaqualone' was recovered from the woman's baggage. The estimated value of the seized contraband is about Rs 30 lakh," a senior CISF official said.
CISF handed over the woman to anti-narcotics sleuths who later arrested her.
