Speaker condoles loss of lives in Patna boat tragedy

Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan has condoled the loss of lives of those killed in Patna boat tragedy.

In her condolence message, Mahajan said, I am pained to learn that a boat carrying several persons capsized on river Ganga in Patna.

"It is tragic news that more than 20 passengers have lost their lives. I convey condolences to the bereaved members of their families," she said.

At least 24 people drowned, including some minors, when a boat capsized on the Ganga in Patna last evening.
