Special court for corruption cases opened

The special court for corruption cases was today inaugurated in the district court complex here.

Salem Chief Judicial Magistrate Mohandass inaugurated the court that would handle cases registered under the Prevention of Corruption Act.

Similar courts had already been set up in various places, including Chennai, Tiruchirappalli and Madurai.

Special Judge Mohan, Additional Judge Rajasekar, local Bar Association President Ponnuswamy were also present.
