Sports Minister wishes Indian team success in WC

Sports Minister Sarbananda Sonowal today wished the Indian team taking part in the cricket World Cup beginning tomorrow in Australia and New Zealand all the success.

In a message, the Minister said that "best wishes of billions of Indians are with Team India" and he is confident that "M S Dhoni and his team-mates would lift the trophy to bring laurels to the country".

India begin their campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan at the Adelaide Oval on Sunday.
