Squash: Mangaonkar enters main draw after walkover from Sandhu

India's Mahesh Mangaonkar entered the main draw of the men's CCI International JSW Indian Squash Circuit 2016 today following the walkover given by compatriot Harinder Pal Sandhu in the final qualifying round.

Mangaonkar thus entered the main draw, which also has fourth seed Sourav Ghosal and wild card recipient Vikram Malhotra with matches commencing tomorrow at the Cricket Club of India (CCI) here.

Mangaonkar takes on sixth seed Alan Clyne of Scotland, Malhotra is up against seed No. 8 Mohammed Reda of Egypt, while Ghosal will play against qualifier Ivan Yuen of Malaysia in first round matches.

Jaymie Haycocks (ENG) beat Christopher Binnie (JAM) 11-6 11-7 11-4; Ivan Yuen (MAS) beat Youssef Soliman (EGY) 11-7, 11-4, 11-9; Joel Makin (WAL) beat Addeen Idrakie (MAS) 11-2, 11-1, 1-11, 11-3; Mahesh Mangaonkar (IND) walkoever Harinder Pal Singh Sandhu (IND).
