SSI, 'Friends of Police' member killed in mishap

: A Special Sub Inspector and one 'Friends of Police' staff member were killed and two others injured when the car in which they were travelling rammed into a tamarind tree today at Veeragonour today, police said.

The SSI was with two FoP personnel and a head constable on patrol early this morning when the mishap occurred.

The injured have been hospitalised.
