Staff of finance firm attacked, Rs 40 lakh robbed

Three armed robbers today attacked the staff of a private finance company and escaped with a cash of Rs 40 lakh, when they were on the way to fill cash into an ATM here.

According to police, the incident occurred at 6 amwhen the employees of the finance company were on their way to the ICICI Bank in a van.

As soon asthe vehicle stopped, the motorcycle borne youth arrived there and attacked them.

The robbers injured three employees and decamped with the cash, police said, adding all of them were admitted to a hospital.
