Stanley Tucci joins "Beauty and the Beast" cast

Actor Stanley Tucci is the latest star to join the ensemble cast of Emma Watson-fronted live-action retelling of fairytale "Beauty and the Beast".

Tucci will play the role of Cadenza the grand piano, a new character who is described as a neurotic maestro, reported Variety.

The film also stars Dan Stevens, Luke Evans, Ian McKellen, Emma Thompson and Ewan McGregor.

Bill Condon is directing the movie from a script Evan Spiliotopoulos and Steve Chbosky.

The movie is slated to release on March 17, 2017.
