Press Trust of India New Delhi
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has organised a street play festival at select metro stations to woo tourists to visit Delhi Metro Museum.

The three-day-long festival, concluding today, has been organised at the Patel Chowk, Akshardham and INA Metro stations.

Through the street plays tourists are being informed about the main attractions of the Delhi Metro Museum at Patel Chowk, which is the only such museum of Metro railway in the entire South Asian region.

Patel Chowk, Akshardham and INA Metro stations have been selected for the shows since all these stations attract a number of tourists due to their proximity to major tourist spots in the city such as Jantar Mantar, Akshardham Temple and Delhi Haat.

Interesting information about the Metro museum is being disseminated through a very interesting play involving historical characters Akbar and Birbal.

Leaflets detailing information about the museum are also being simultaneously distributed to those watching the plays.
