A 21-year-old student was today arrested after he sent a text message to police officials, claiming that there would be a security breach during Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das' function at Rajarappa here today.
Superintendent of Police M Tamilvanan said that Mahesh Mahto, a resident of Kewat Tola at Rajrappa, sent the SMS to him, Ramgarh sub-divisional officer and Inspector of Gola Police Station yesterday.
Mahto, a Plus-II student, who has a grocery store near the Rajarappa temple, said during interrogation that he had bought the SIM in the name of another person as he wanted to take revenge on him.

The handset and the SIM were seized from him, the SP said.
The chief minister attended the function without any untoward incident occurring, official sources said.
