Students should translate ideas into innovations: VC

Pondicherry University Vice-Chancellor Professor Gurmeet Singh today urged the youth to nurture new ideas and translate them into innovations for the betterment of the nation as a whole.

He was presiding over the inaugural of the seven-day national workshop on 'Computational Approaches to Drug Discovery.'

Singh assumed charge as Vice-Chancellor in November this year.

Advisor to the Department of Biotechnology, New Delhi, inaugurated the workshop.

As per a university release, the worskhop is part of the celebrations of the silver jubilee of BTISNet (Bio Technology Information System Network).
