Tea garden worker dies of malnutrition

A woman worker of a closed tea garden died of acute malnutrition at Banarhat in Jalpaiguri district, officials said today.

Budhuni Munda (47) died of acute malnutrition in the closed Red Bank tea garden at Banarhat last night, sources said.

The tea garden is lying closed for a long time and the workers are forced to go out to look for odd jobs.
